Why Vidyabhawan

aboutArticle 21 A of the Constitution states on Right to Education where it mentions "the state shall provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of 6 to 14 years." Again Article 46 states the promotion of educational and economic interest of Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribes and other weaker sections of the society."The State shall promote with special care, the educational and economic interests of the weaker sections of the people, and in particular of the schedule caste and schedule tribes, and shall protect them from social injustice and all forms of exploitation."

aboutBut the Right to Education and promotion of education for the weaker section, Schedule Tribe and Schedule Caste still remains a dream for many disadvantaged families and there is still a lot to be done. As a true citizen it is our fundamental duty to abide by the constitution and respect its ideals and institution. In a tribal, backward district like Kendujhar, we have made a humble attempt at the micro level in ‘Vidya Bhawan’ to provide a free residential quality education for the unprivileged children and hence strengthening the fundamental rights of citizens particularly the poor and weaker sections in the field of education. We hope by grooming the future citizens of our country at the micro level will build a bright and prosperous nation.
